Patients on Productive Activities

The Bhutan Kidney Foundation’s Livelihood Programme under the Foundation’s thrust area “Patient Care & Support programme” remained one of the engaged and productive activity for dialysis patients and attendants.
The activity instills positive vibes and hopes in them that they can also lead a normal lives and always walk on the front foot. It also provides a platform to specialize in the skills and art they are good at, earn petty incomes for them to sustain and meet their ends need and eventually contribute in socio-economic development of the Nation.

34 years old, Suk Bahadur Gurung from Tsirang is one among them with great potential and good at repair & maintenance related to electronic works.
He worked in one of the private Electronic Shops for couple of months until he was diagnosed with kidney disease. Today, he resides at Kidu Patient Guest House in Thimphu undergoing dialysis since October 2016.

As to keep this activity alive and continue their hopes burning, the Foundation is in full support with the provision of basic amenities they require. Towards this, the BKF would like to request our well-wishers to contact the Foundation or directly to Suk Bahadur at 77226486 for repair works related to electronic goods that the patient is capable of.

Your support through this will be an additional air that we try to provide our patients to breathe with.
